James is a seasoned financial markets professional with over 10 years experience across both exchange traded and OTC derivatives. Having worked on the Institutional derivatives desk for a number of U.S. Investment Banks and Brokers, James draws upon this experience to deliver a first class Prime of Prime solution covering FX, CFDs, metals and oil to institutional and wholesale clients of Invast. He specialises in bespoke liquidity relationships for brokers, institutions, hedge funds, and professional money managers.
Nick has a wealth of experience working across global listed and OTC derivative markets in both voice and electronic environments. He is presently completing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program, has an engineering background and specialises in combining technical skill and knowledge of global markets with a deep desire to understand client needs to provide optimised prime services solutions.
Geoff has over 40 years experience in the financial markets. He specialises in providing optimised FX solutions to institutional traders, hedge funds, HFTs, brokers and banks. Geoff has worked as a trader and broker at many global investment banks including Citibank and Westpac. He was the first trader to make the market when the AUD/USD originally floated in 1983. Geoff ensures that all Invast clients and partners experience the best possible trading environment.
David previously worked as part of UBS Investment Bank’s Prime Services Sales team in London. There he was involved in all aspects of selling UBS’ derivative execution and clearing services to Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Corporates and Banks. He has a strong knowledge of the impact of Basel 3 Capital rules and the impact on the industry having been involved in re-pricing derivatives products for new and existing Prime Services clients.
Wendy has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Accounting and Finance from the University of Sydney. She can speak fluently in Mandarin, Cantonese, Shanghainese and English, and has recently been studying Japanese. Wendy has previously worked at an established Singapore brokerage firm as well as a Chinese brokerage in a trader’s associate role. She is currently completing her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program, and holds a RG146 certification. Wendy continues to specialise in servicing financial institutions in the Asian region.
Marcus has a strong quantitative background and previously led the dealing team at Invast Securities in Japan. He was responsible for optimisation of pricing, execution and liquidity of FX and CFD products. He possesses comprehensive knowledge about the Japanese financial industry and regulations. Speaking fluently in Japanese, English, Mandarin and Cantonese, Marcus specialises in providing the best liquidity solution to institutional clients in Asia-Pacific region.
Christen holds a Master of Commerce (MCom), Finance from the University of New South Wales. He specialises in providing multi-asset prime services to retail brokers, hedge funds and proprietary trading firms around the world. Christen has previously worked at one of the world’s largest foreign exchange brokerages, where he was responsible for optimising liquidity, trade analysis and improving business efficiency.
Benjamin has a Bachelor of Business (BBus), Accounting and Finance from the University of Technology, Sydney. He has also completed an exchange business program at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Benjamin has gained valuable experience within corporate restructuring and debt advisory in his previous roles. He joins Invast as we continue to establish our international prime services team.
Van is a passionate professional with over 10 years customer service experience in a managerial capacity and has a substantial network in both the institutional and private sector. He possesses excellent communication skills and in-depth-financial industry knowledge. Coupling this with his ability to interact at all levels ensures the successful implementation of optimum solutions for institutional clients. Van holds a RG146 accreditation, a BBus in Marketing and a Master’s Degree in International Trade.
Owen has gained experience in a range of industries and has demonstrated knowledge in Management Consulting, Business Analysis, Business Development and Operations in start-ups, multi-national corporations and non-for-profits. He has strong capability of multi-tasking, problem solving and cross-functional team coordination. Owen is fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese and English and is currently pursuing an MBA and CFA.
